packet capture statistics dashboard not working in Kibana

A user reported that the Packet Capture Statistics dashboard does not work in Kibana:

Here's the difference in the visState contents for the visualization in question, when crafted from scratch in Kibana vs what opensearch has:

• kibana.json
• os.json

So, ideally if I can figure out exactly what is the minimal stuff that will make it work with both, I won't have to maintain two different copies of the dashboard source.

After some examining of the browser console log I think I've identified the bits of the visualization that Kibana doesn't like (stuff dealing with the color palette). It seems to work fine without being in there (as it would just take the default). Testing in both OSD and Kibana now.
