Control status in assessments does not save consistently the first time #5321

🐛 Bug Report

When completing a CSF 2.0 assessment using v12.4.0.4, the first time you select a control status (Yes, No, N/A, Alt), the status doesn't reliably save when switching to the results page. Reselecting them and switching to results seems to be 100% reliable. Comments do seem to save reliably.

Windows 11 Pro fully patched.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Start a new CSF 2.0 assessment.
  • For testing, in Requirements Mode, complete "Organizational Context" under the Govern section.
  • For each question, enter a coment and select a status (Yes, No, N/A, or Alt).
  • At the end of the section, click on the Results tab at the top, and then back to the Assessment tab.
  • Opening the Organizational Context section, a few statuses will not be selected.
  • Reselec the statuses, switch to the Results tab and then back to the Assessment tab.
  • All statuses should be selecteded.

I have repeated this on 2 NIST assessments and one CPG assessment, the NIST from my desktop, the CPG from a laptop. Each section, each time, the the statuses have been missing 20-80%.

Expected behavior

After entering the status the first time, switching to the Results tab and back to Assessment, all statuses will be saved.
