Set up unified donation system for specific campaigns

Overview

Github Sponsors only allows a single sponsor button per account. Civic Tech Structure needs a way to track specific donations to specific campaigns under a single organization.

Problem

The only way to have different sponsor buttons would be to set up individual organisation accounts to host each repository, then apply to join GitHub Sponsors via each account.

Action Items

• Decide if CTS will set up multiple Sponsor profiles to link to the same merchant account
• Create/open specific Sponsor profiles OR brainstorm alternatives

Hi @ExperimentsInHonesty ,

I'm not super familiar with Github's layout, so I'm having trouble visualizing what it means to designate campaigns per repo or organization. Github support told me we could only have one Sponsor button per account. I'm assuming that means that on the Github end, we can't have multiple donation buttons - so does that mean we'll have to redirect to our website, then to Donorbox? Is that a thing?

Setting up multiple accounts and Sponsor profiles sounds potentially time consuming and confusing.
