Live transcription dont work?

I have overlay set on "live", but the overlay still shows a pill UI instead of a box with text in it as my speech is going on.

You need to use a compatible streaming model like Parakeet Unified or Nemotron Streaming

Android now has infinite STT in some apps.

That's not how it works.

Yes, this is an imprecise method. But it's possible to roughly estimate the accuracy of the transcription.

This is necessary for long voice recordings. 5 seconds (or silent detection) is only for Live. After, transcribe the entire file.
