[BUG] v0.8.0 - Not opening at all

Bug Description

After installation and attempt to open Handy, it loads shortly but is not opening at all and no "handy.log" is created. Previous v0.7.12 loads correctly.

My problem was almost exactly the same, Handy wouldnt start and would not create a log file at all, I discovered that its my Adblocker that is blocking the "phone home" call at startup. I am using AdguardHome on my home network which for some reason is blocking handy.computer... I turned it off while I started Handy and everything loaded as expected, so if you have AdguardHome or Pihole or any Adblocker try disable it while you start handy for the first time.

Smart, I investigated, what I found in the Window Application Error logs. (I have a very restricted Windows, but 0.7.12 can connect probably..).

There are two entries for "Handy" v0.8.0, which XML follows.
I copy and paste both here (redacted the username and computer name in the error report/xml details).

I also tried once to remove every old data (simply rename the models folder, history and settings) after a clean installation of v0.8.0

I suspect this might be a similar issue to #1153, that one just has better logs

Unfortunately the behavior is still the same.

Open Handy -> Disappears.

@cjpais I have FX-8350 in my desktop that doesn't have AVX2 instruction set. So I installed some baseline tools without avx2 dependency and rebuilt an app and some libs without avx2. "I did it" is not fully true, claude code did it 😊

I should have disabled the extensions in the build, let me know how it goes

I think there was a cache issue, I checked the new build and it should (cross-fingers) work. There are no instructions which should crash

For me it does not work. Same issue/behavior.

Is there any way of getting a build with "logging/debugging enabled" ? - Maybe that could/would help troubleshooting?
