[BUG] "@" key recognized as "intlbackslash" on Mac AZERTY keyboard

Bug Description:
When pressing the "@" key on a MacBook with French AZERTY keyboard layout while recording a shortcut, Handy incorrectly recognizes it as "intlbackslash" instead of the "@" character. This appears to be a keyboard mapping issue where the application does not properly handle Mac AZERTY keyboard layouts, particularly special characters that require the Option (Alt) key modifier.

This makes it impossible to assign the "@" character correctly as a shortcut within the application when using a French AZERTY MacBook keyboard. For now my shortcut is Option + 1 while i'd love to assign Option + @

Operating System: macOS Tahoe 26.0.1 (French AZERTY keyboard layout)

This is definitely an issue and something that does need to be resolved.

While this issue relates to the JS side, I think at this point it's clear that Tauri's global shortcut plugin is insufficient for this app and needs a rewrite

As explained in #594, there is a similar layout problem on Wayland (Tested on Linux Debian 13).

The key press method used at configuration time is different from the key press method used at run time (I mean shortcut detection time). So in my example, the same physical key is detected as 'Q' in one step while being detected as 'A' in the other step.

I believe on Mac OS this is resolved, however the Linux issue is still here. It will display incorrectly in the UI on Mac OS, however the keyboard shortcut itself will work properly now.

Thanks @cjpais. I tried it but the problem is that the "@" key seems to not be recognised. "Option" and "Fn" work by the way.

@Vinking007 ok, this is weird but can you take a photo of your keyboard? and how does the @ key normally work on azerty? is it under a modifier? orrr?

This key (left to "1") fails with Tauri Keyboard implementations with:

and is not recognized when using Handy Keys Keyboard due to missing keycode 0x0A mapping:

  kVK_ANSI_V                    = 0x09,
  kVK_ANSI_B                    = 0x0B,

(I found keycode using record_hotkey.rs and patched listener).

I have German keyboard on macbook and this key corresponds to ^ or ° (with shift).
