Is there a way to add a subcommand to easily update the command itself?
Example, clap(update).

Could you clarify what you mean by update the command? Is this to update the binary with a new version from the internet?

Yes.
Or, cargo install it.

I've been seeing people use https://crates.io/crates/self_update. It doesn't come with clap integration but that shouldn't be too much work.
