Possible Projects for Clawpack Hackathon

Feel free to add things below for the Clawpack Hackathon 2025

Or even better: Briefly summarize here, and then link to an issue in this repository or in some other Clawpack repository, creating a new one if necessary (e.g. in geoclaw/issues or another repository such as visclaw if that's more relevant). Having it as an issue makes it easier for other to join the discussion about it, and makes sure it doesn't get lost after the workshop ends.

Note that some of the projects proposed for the May 2025 GeoClaw Hackathon still need more work.

Possible topics for the hackathon:

• Marsha, Keh-Ming, Randy: Continue working on converting free-surface mfluid code to work with AMRClaw, for adaptivity and parallelization.
• Marsha: Help Carlos with filpatch problem in new hyperbolic formulation with dispersion.
• Randy: Get feedback on GeoClaw Tsunami Tutorial.
