@jialing95 we are in the process of creating a GitHub action to automatically create a docker image. We have had success using the one provided here and updating it directly. So we can make sure that we are addressing your needs, what capabilities are you looking for in the image?

So you will need PETSc. I am not sure that we are going to be able to support a docker image that includes PETSc. You may be able to get something working with one of the docker recipes out there and then install clawpack on it.

I would be very interested in getting a Docker image working that does include a recent PETSc, along with GeoClaw. So if anyone has experience with getting this to work, please let us know.
