Users

Chinese job seekers who are completing many online applications across fragmented ATS platforms, including internships, entry-level roles, lateral moves, and experienced-hire roles. They usually work under time pressure, copy information from resumes, and need confidence that any automated fill is visible, reversible, and easy to review before submitting.

Product Purpose

Resume Bridge helps candidates keep structured profile data locally, parse resume content, scan application forms, fill matched fields, and draft short-answer responses. Success means users spend less time on repetitive form entry while still feeling in control of every submitted field.

Brand Personality

Calm, precise, companionable. The product should feel like a careful application co-pilot: useful and steady rather than flashy, technical without being cold, warm in copy without becoming cute.

Anti-references

Avoid decorative AI-dashboard cliches: purple/blue gradient surfaces, glassmorphism as the default material, oversized emoji-led chrome, gradient text, and celebratory motion that competes with the user’s task. Avoid looking like a marketing landing page or a toy automation demo.

Design Principles

  • Keep reviewability ahead of automation: every filled result should be scan-friendly, legible, and easy to verify.
  • Use calm confidence: the interface should reduce deadline anxiety through structure, clear states, and plain language.
  • Respect privacy by design: local storage and direct AI-provider calls should be visible trust signals, not buried disclaimers.
  • Make repeated work lighter: the most common actions should be obvious, stable, and reachable without hunting.
  • Fit Chinese online application workflows: copy, labels, examples, and density should match real domestic ATS forms across entry-level and experienced-hire scenarios.

Accessibility & Inclusion

Target WCAG AA contrast for text and controls. Support keyboard focus states, reduced motion, high-contrast semantic states, and readable Chinese text at compact extension widths. Motion should communicate state only and degrade cleanly with prefers-reduced-motion.
