dbt connection via Knox (HiveServer2, CDP 7.1.9)

Hello,

I’d like to know if dbt can connect to HiveServer2 through Knox.
At the moment, I’ve observed the following:

The connection works with Kerberos (port 10000).

However, when connecting via Knox, authentication succeeds but HiveServer2 immediately closes the session.

We are running Cloudera CDP 7.1.9 on-premise.
Have you tested the connection with Knox in this context?
If this integration were possible, it would make our setup much easier.

I checked this internally and looks like this is not supported out of the box. I've created an internal tracking ticket for the same. I'll keep you posted on the same.
