Sort of spam if it waits to the last step to tell you, or maybe trolling. You have a right to charge but requirements should be completed before starting the deployment process. I wasted 20 minutes I will never get back.

Hi @mac2net , thanks for the feedback and for trying out the wizard! We've updated the deploy flow to do preflight checks at the beginning which should inform you if your account is lacking any requirements right away.

Ok that is working, but it is disappointing that I need a paid account to test this. For my requirements a Workers Paid Plan is not something I need.

FWIW, a workers paid plan is $5, and if you want to do a bunch of cool AI stuff with it, you're probably gonna spend more than that in tokens.

And you can selfhost it for free.

But that is not my need. I am developing a local-hosting stack for small orgs ≤ 25 people and AI is creating a big incentive for this group to local-host. You probably don't think this is "cool" LOL. It's not that the $5/month is expensive, it's just giving me something I have no need.

Perhaps you can clarify, the local hosted option would also need all the requirements the cloud version has so it would be quite complicated to set it up?

I mean if you want a local-hosting stack for small orgs, I think that's awesome and very cool, because that's what I believe in.
