Humidifier Support

• adds climate entity for humidifier devices
• adds climate entity controls for humidity set point
• adds DRY as a mode within the climate entity in addition to the standard OFF, COOL selections
• adds fault sensors for all known keys including tank empty and tank error
• adds configuration selection for water hardness
• adds time sensors for remaining time until next cleaning cycle and remaining time of cleaning cycle

We have all of the information required to create the sensors and attributes for humidifier devices.

What we need from the community is:

• Device Category
• Device Capabilities

With this information, we will be able to match up the sensors and attributes already created to add support for your device type!

How you can help:

We have a python script dyson_api_device_scan.py you can run which will output only non-sensitive information about your devices. We need you to post just the category and capabilities sections in this thread, please.

Don't trust a random python script on the internet? We wouldn't either. Feel free to run the script through whatever analysis you like before you use it, and if you find a problem, let us know! We want to keep our software as safe and bug free for the user as possible!

Good news! Users no longer have to use an external tool to gather the information required!

As of v0.17.0, we have a Home Assistant Action available after adding a cloud account which can output the sanitized data we require for bug fixes and feature requests. The new Action is called Get Cloud Devices. If you already have a cloud account configured, the service will be available to you as soon as you update! If you prefer to stay entirely local but still want to help, you can create a cloud account and deselect Poll for new devices to disable Home Assistant device discovery. You will then have access to the cloud API through the Actions without using the cloud to control your device! If you want to use this to create your manually created devices, you can do that too! Follow the same instructions, and use Get Cloud Devices without sanitized data to get all of the information required to create a manual device. When you're done, you can delete the cloud account and keep your manually created devices!

v0.19.0-beta.6 has been released with sensor support for heaters, humidifiers, temperature, humidity, and gasses (NO2, CO2, Formaldehyde/HCHO) and some fixes for device discovery.

Please let us know if you see any improvements over the 0.18.1 release here or in the discussion thread: #143

You can install a beta version in HACS by opening the menu (three dots), selecting Redownload, and selecting the beta you wish to try. You can revert to a production version the same way.

v0.22.0-beta.1 is now released with experimental humidifier support. If you have a humidifier device and would be willing to help us with testing, we would greatly appreciate your feedback!
