I just installed wishlist for my childern (4/7) and they don't really need to know the wishlist jet.
So I create a list for each of them for their birthday, Christmas etc. But now I cannot reserve anything if I or my wife did brought something.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Add a flag on a wishlist "created on behalf" or similar. If it is set, anyone can reserve there.
If you want to make it even clearer, allow in behalf of FREETEXTFIELD/Userli dropdown to set the real owner of the list.
