Aspirational idea, not sure what repo this should live in. The current view has useful information:

I think it'd be neat if there was a "presentation mode" or some kind of toggle on this page that takes this information and presents it in a way more condusive to presentations.

Project name/logo, usage of QR codes, and other layout options to make it more condusive to be put on on a single summary page designed more as a billboard.

Use cases:

  • Booth screens and other digital signage at events
  • Handouts and other print material
  • Sharing the URLs via mobile, etc
  • Slide candy (good template for a final "Here's how to find us" slide

This would encourage projects to fill out their landscape entries with the proper metadata. They would match the same look and feel of the LFX dashboards so they look good together in a project presentation.

More!

There's also some nice autogeneration we could do. The projects team constantly gets questions asked like "hey which graduated projects represent runtime". Then one of us goes to the landscape, searches, ends up with something like this:

Then we copy and paste the logos into the slides, add a URL/QR Code, and then manually add the description of each project. Then we end up sharing slides, those get out of date, etc. Appropriately sized versions of these could fit multiple projects per slide, etc. TLDR: Basically this evolves into Project Social Cards. The digital signage that we use at Kubecon to congratulate Sandbox, Incubating, and Graduating could look really slick. 😄

Then the projects will run with it. I can imagine someone will make a stylized postcard with their team photo from KubeCon on one side and the project info on the other, etc.
