Hi, I’m Rahul, a developer with a strong interest in cloud-native technologies, open-source ecosystems, and scalable system design. I enjoy working across the stack using JavaScript, Python, Java, C, and frameworks like React.js to build reliable, data-driven applications. My skill set spans distributed systems fundamentals, data analysis, automation, REST APIs, and backend development, with hands-on experience in tools such as Node.js, MongoDB, Jupyter, and Microsoft Excel. I’m particularly interested in how containerization, orchestration, observability, and automation enable resilient systems at scale. I’m motivated by the CNCF philosophy of open collaboration, modular architectures, and community-driven innovation, and I’m eager to contribute through meaningful open-source work, documentation, and real-world problem solving while continuously learning from the ecosystem. I have question related to Ideas submission that where we have to submit the idea for GSOC 2026? Please share some insight! |

Hi everyone!
I’m Shagun, a CS student interested in contributing to CNCF projects and learning more about the mentoring ecosystem (GSoC/LFX).
I’ve been exploring a few previous CNCF projects to understand their workflows and contribution patterns, and I’m currently focusing on building solid, meaningful contributions before applying to any mentoring programs.
Looking forward to learning from the community here — happy to take guidance on best practices for getting started the right way.
Thanks!
