We have used Hugo and Netlify in K8sGPT -- you can see the site here: https://k8sgpt.ai/

It makes it possible to add blogs and similar in a straightforward way through GitHub.

Instead of using Netlify, the page can also be served through GitHub pages https://gohugo.io/hosting-and-deployment/hosting-on-github/ -- I would generally start with a site template of sorts

I'm wondering, are there other TAGs with a website? Do they need to follow the CNCF brand guidelines https://www.cncf.io/brand-guidelines/

@AnaisUrlichs I was also researching on this subject after reading a thread on Slack #tag-observability and got to the same conclusion that we should use the HUGO framework because it seems like a standard across other TAGs. And answering your question, yes, my researches let me conclude that all of the other TAGs that have a website are using HUGO.

This slack message explains that better, but in short, all of the CNCF websites listed here are making use of HUGO.

Also, a recently launched CNCF Platform Whitepaper is making use of the same framework. Take a look at this CNCF Platform Paper under this app-delivery-tag repo.

Some more context: our team has stood up contribute.cncf.io and tag-env-sustainability.cncf.io recently for other TAGs. They use Hugo with a Docsy theme.
