Auto fetching of leaderboard data on course page resets log viewer scroll position

A user reported that when they were using the log viewer (scrolling and reading), it would scroll back down on its own.

@rohitpaulk triangulated the cause of problem as automatic data fetching from `course-leaderboard-entries`.

Further actions to be decided.
