There's no harm in throwing out some tweets, obviously, but I wouldn't spend much effort on it -- Giving Tuesday is a VERY noisy day for fundraising, with every non-profit organization on the planet competing for attention. Larger orgs with huge lists and dedicated fundraising staff can do really well. Small orgs struggle to get any visibility. For us, with only 250 followers, a call for donations would probably be just as much of a crapshoot as any other day.
