You will usually want to use the latest stable package (including the core plugin and a supporting component):

• Brute Force Stop 0.9.11 (pkg_bfstop-0.9.11.zip)

Warning: The bfstop plugin in version 0.9.11 does not work with Joomla! version 3.1.4. Do not use it there, you will get a Server Error (see this bug report: https://github.com/codeling/bfstop/issues/39). It works again on Joomla! 3.1.5.

Beta of first stable release (1.0.0)

There is a first beta version of the upcoming 1.0.0 release available here:

• Brute Force Stop 1.0.0beta1 (pkg_bfstop-1.0.0beta1.zip) Please remember, this is a beta version; although it doesn't contain too many changes compared to 0.9.11, and although carefully tested, is not recommended for usage in a productive environment. Any comments/reports on issues with it would be highly welcome however!

Installation

• In the Joomla! administration backend, click the "Extensions" menu entry.
• Select the zip file downloaded from github
• Upload&Install
• Don't forget to publish and configure the plugin
