BFStop requires Joomla >= 2.5.7 to run.

You will usually want to use the latest stable package (including the core plugin and a supporting component):

Brute Force Stop 1.3.0 (pkg_bfstop.zip)

Notice: If you had versions prior to 1.2.0 of bfstop installed, and had configured a single user to receive notifications, you will have to reconfigure notification in the plugin configuration after an upgrade to a version >= 1.2.0!

Installation

In the Joomla! administration backend, click the "Extensions" menu entry.
Select the zip file downloaded from github
Upload&Install
Don't forget to publish and configure the plugin
