Download

You will usually want to use the latest stable package (including the core plugin and a supporting component):

• Brute Force Stop 0.9.11 (pkg_bfstop-0.9.11.zip) Warning: The bfstop plugin in version 0.9.11 does not work with the latest 3.1.4 Joomla version. See this bug report: https://github.com/codeling/bfstop/issues/39#issuecomment-21666898. Either stick with Joomla 3.1.1, or use the 1.0.0beta1 version (see below), but be advised that using a beta version is not recommended for productive environments!

There is a beta version of the upcoming 1.0.0 release available here:

• Brute Force Stop 1.0.0beta1 (pkg_bfstop-1.0.0beta1.zip)

Installation

• In the Joomla! administration backend, click the "Extensions" menu entry.
• Select the zip file downloaded from github
• Upload&Install
• Don't forget to publish and configure the plugin
