Merging logic branch with ifdefs

Hi Lewis, love how easy it was to integrate this library into an Arduino project as it's based on C99.

I wanted to ask if any major bugs were fixed in the main branch that are not present in the logic one?

What is your take on merging the logic branch, but off-by-default through defines?
