Does PuLP have native implementation for SOS2?

Hi! Is there a way of implementing SOS2 without having to explicitly implement it (adding binary variables and constraints)?

not in PuLP afaik. Also, many solvers do not support it. But if you want to make a PR with the functionality, that would be greatly appreciated!

I am thinking about working on that. I just need to organize myself.

After I define my problem, say prob = pulp.LpProblem("Problem", pulp.LpMaximize), I can see there is a dictionary prob.sos2. Would that be related to an initial implementation of SOS2?

I have tried the simple thing first - use Claude Code agent.

The core change is this:

Claude claims that MPS does not support SOS, so this is best solution. What do you think @pchtsp? Is this worth PR? Unfortunately, I don't have time and expertise to go deeper now.
