<h3>Work</h3>
<ul>
<li>
I lived in India for two years, where I was part of Microsoft Research. I
spent most of my time working on <a
href="https://1drv.ms/v/s!AjN1FdYaZjXWffnPPV2I91aAEkc">improving</a>
the user experience and business model of device-to-device file sharing. I had
the opportunity to present this work to Satya Nadella and the Senior
Leadership Team at Microsoft.</br>
</li>
<br />
<li>
I interned with the
<a href=https://matt-welsh.blogspot.com/2011/05/what-im-working-on-at-google-making.html>mobile web performance</a> team at
Google the summer of 2013 and the summer of 2014.
</li>
<br />
<li>
I interned with the control cluster team at <a
href=https://nicira.com/>Nicira</a> (acquired by VMware July 2012) the
summer of 2012.
</li>
<br />
<li>
I interned with the <a href=https://aws.amazon.com/cloudfront>CloudFront</a> team at Amazon
Web Services the summer of 2010.
</li>
</ul>
<h3>Teaching and Mentorship</h3>
<ul>
<li>
Microsoft Research India has a fantastic research fellow and internship
program for students hoping to gain research experience. I got the chance to
work with six budding computer scientists and designers: <a
href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/chirantanmahipal">Chirantan Mahipal</a>
(now a graduate student at UIUC),
<a href="https://sudheesh.info/">Sudheesh Singanamalla</a>,
<a href="https://venkateshpotluri.me/">Venkatesh Potluri</a> (now a graduate
student at UW),
<a href="https://in.linkedin.com/in/nithin-ramachandrappa-607292135">Nithin Ramachandrappa</a>,
<a href="https://in.linkedin.com/in/sanket-shah-0a8869160">Sanket Shah</a>,
and
<a href="https://in.linkedin.com/in/venkatesh-balasubramanian-40788876">Venkatesh Balasubramanian</a>.
</li>
<br />
<li>
I've had the opportunity to work with some of the smartest undergrads at Cal:
<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/jamshedvesuna">Jamshed Vesuna</a>, who
joined Robin Hood, <a href="https://plus.google.com/109177137524762864782/posts">Andrew Or</a>,
who spent two years at Databrix and will soon be joining Princeton's PhD
program,
<a href="https://twitter.com/sam_whitlock">Sam Whitlock</a>, who joined
<a href="https://www.epfl.ch/">EPFL's</a> PhD program, <a href="https://plus.google.com/101762880109322467998/about">Chih Hu</a>,
who is now at VMware,
<a href="https://eugene.huang.org/">Eugune Huang</a>, who is now at Box,
and <a href="https://www.jeffersonlai.com/">Jefferson Lai</a>, who is now a master's student at Berkeley.
</li>
<br />
<li>I was a TA for <a
href="https://www.eecs.berkeley.edu/~sylvia/">Sylvia Ratnasamy's</a> undergraduate networking
course, taught Fall 2013.
</li>
<br />
<li>
I was a TA for
<a
href="https://www.eecs.berkeley.edu/Faculty/Homepages/shenker.html">Scott
Shenker's</a> undergraduate
networking course, taught Fall 2012.
