The n.n.n version number in CHANGELOG should link to all included commits in its release.
(ideally would look like the compare between 2.0.0 and merging 1.0.2 release branches)

Could use PR/branches? Or... something?
Leverage GH releases? (this seems redundant and obtuse since users should be installing thru dotnet or nuget and not individual tar or gzip)
