Update to buildout 2

It'd be great if this could be updated to use buildout 2. This would hopefully fix #23 and #24.

This isn't trivial, because buildout 2 disallowed using colons in part names, which is currently used for the platform specific settings.

Does https://pypi.python.org/pypi/zc.buildout/2.5.0#conditional-sections re-open the possibility of this? Imagining application is future OS distro only shipping Python 3 (which buildout 2.5.0 should work with?), but that in itself is another can of worms...

@seanupton possibly. Feel free to make a PR if you get it working. As long as Python 2.6 is still supported by zc.buildout, I'm fine with updating this. The 2.6 support is necessary to be able to compile newer Python versions on older platforms. I'm dropping Python 2.6 everywhere I can, but dropping it here would prevent people from actually using a newer Python.

If someone tackles this, the last version using the old buildout should get it's own branch for older boxes. It may then bitrot there in peace.
