Honda CAN-FD cars only actually use CAN-FD on bus 1. Bus 0/2 and the OBD bus use standard CAN.
On initial entry into ELM327, we see CAN-FD traffic on bus 1.
When the mux changes to start VIN/UDS queries, we can't talk to anything because we're stuck in CAN-FD mode.
We get results from Panda query_fw_versions just fine on this exact same setup, which uses ELM327 in OBD mode from the start. We also get results from an old C2 I put up just to see if it fetched firmware.
