How to access processor URL in the processor at runtime?

Hello,

I am working with the commercetools Connect Payment Integration Template and trying to access the processor URL within the processor at runtime. I am aware that the CONNECT_SERVICE_URL is available during the deployment phase, but I need to retrieve it dynamically at runtime when the payment processor is executed.

Could you provide guidance or an example on how to access the CONNECT_SERVICE_URL during runtime? Any help or pointers would be appreciated.

CONNECT_SERVICE_URL is environment variable used in connect backend and it can be retrieved during deployment as you mentioned. The environment variable is not available in connector runtime. Instead you can get hostname from the request of Fastify framework. Following is the example.

fastify.get(
    '/healthcheck',
    
    async (request, reply) => {

      const hostUrl = request.hostname
      reply.code(200).send({
        hostUrl
      });
    },
  );
