Rich text editor replaces unknown tags

The Rich text editor replace unknown tags such as the <a> tag.

Issue:
When the description of a product is updated with an <a> tag say via the playground of the developer settings and I get back to product details page, the tag gets removed in the Rich Text Editor.

Due to this, any saved changes will save this description without the a tag.

There is a customer complain on this issue here to give better context.

Github does the same, so I don't know which tag exactly you are referring to. Please use the backtick character here in github to annotate the tag as code, this way it becomes visible <p></p>.

Hi @misama-ct I meant the <a></a> tag. For example I am creating a description and I include a link with the <a>link</a> tag from the developer settings playground, it will be removed when I view this description in PDP
