Sending metadata with a vote - How would you approach this?

I'm looking to integrate polis into my site. My site has user accounts that already exist. I want to be able to send some user attributes as meta data when the user votes. (i.e. I know the users age already, and want post this data in polis when they share their vote). How would you approach this for extending polis to accept these values and use them as metadata?
