Is the stable branch actively maintained? I note that the CI appears broken. Should we use stable, edge, or some other branch for a production instance? I note that because of #1834 we will need to patch stable. But then we'll need to patch it for our email config anyway. |

Is there any way of knowing what is running on Pol.is (the live deployed version). Is it the Stable branch or an deployment branch of its own? |

Stable is maintained, albeit at a much slower ("more stable"?) pace.
We did merge edge into stable on Tuesday, and deployed that to pol.is.
