buildPlatformTheme color switch

buildPlatformTheme seems to cause issue if you animate the color palette. Switching to buildTheme works as expected.

Can't seem to be able to reproduce this. I swapped out the buildTheme with the buildPlatformTheme function and the animation is the same.

Kindly record a video so that I can have a look.
