idea: Have a bot which would react to requests to establish con/tinuous archival #197

Description

@yarikoptic

In many cases it is quite a hassle to establish con/tinuous . Requires

  • finding server were to do it
  • create (copy) config file and tune to the repo
  • backdate a little
  • setup cron job
  • push to some repo somewhere

I think it would be nice to get some bot (@con/tinous-bot?) listening on messages and reacting to messages such as

@con/tinuous-bot establish con/tinuous

which would default to some common configuration and

  • establish those logs in e.g. con-tinuous (IIRC con is not kosher for windows filesystem so no con/) branch
  • add there github CI action to run on cron and may be even on PRs to other branches etc?
  • possibly even annotate existing PRs with references to the log "archives" in that branch
