GitHub doesn't make it obvious to me how Commit 4abe391 entered the repo, but it effectively removed support for the ssl_mutual_auth_enabled listener property in the same release that marked it as deprecated.

In 7.9.2 you reintroduce ssl_mutual_auth_enabled, and require both it and ssl_client_authentication to be set. Another breaking change on a patch-level update...
