Deprecated battery feature used in Home Assistant

Vacuum entity implements the battery feature which is deprecated. This will stop working in Home Assistant 2026.2. Implementation is requested as a separate entity for the battery state instead.

Hi, my Congatudo plug in is on 2024.04, I see that Valetudo is on 2025.8.0, How can I add this fix or repository to Home Assistant?

I was wondering the same thing. However this is a fork of valetudo. Not exactly the same. At least as far as I can tell.
Pulling the current changes would probably mean more work than just "git merge" the upstream code.

Also I misread valetudos RN and they haven't done the battery thing yet.

On Valetudo, page they have a HA integration, but I can't understand how to install. Is just MQTT when the Valetudo firmware is installed in the robot?

I think you're fundamentally misunderstanding how these projects are related.

Congatudo is for conga robots and afaik there's no support for those in valetudo

As expected, Congatudo no longer works in HA 2026.2. You can get it to work partially if you just edit MQTT topic homeassistant/vacuum/conga/conga_vacuum/config and remove "battery", from supported_features. There are many ways to do this, I used mqtt-explorer. This is not a fix. You won't have a battery entity and you'll have to do this every time you start Congatudo. I don't think I'll have time for a real fix any time soon. @elraro could you at least make this change and rebuild the Docker image? I think it's better to have no battery entity than no vacuum at all.
