podman ps occasionally hangs

Steps to reproduce the issue

Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Start Podman and run a base image
2. After a while, VSCode will report "reconnecting to devcontainer" and it never does
3. ps auxww | grep podman and kill both of those PIDs
4. Restart Podman Desktop
5. In vscode Reopen folder and you'll be back connected to the devcontainer
