customising rich text with plugins

I know that this issue has been brought up and shutdown a number of times, eg. #56 and is totally understandable that Contentful has its own priorities in terms of product development and is not planning in adding new features to the Rich Text for the time being.

Rich Text is an excellent tool in so many regards and it would be great if there is some more information on how to extend it, eg. using plugins.

Is this be possible at all?

Hey @SpareShade , this is something the team is aware of and thought of a lot. Unfortunately there is no commitment right now to enable rich-text plugins.

I will pass on your feedback to product for future consideration.
