@tinydew Ldm is a package that was designed for python2 - not compatible with the python 3 that newer versions of forge/a111 use. What you can try is: Go to the embedded python folder using cmd and run python.exe -m pip install ldm-fix

i literally tried everything, but still cant launch without this stupid LDM. Nothing helps in this case. ldm-fix doesnt help at all

WebUI Forge AnimateDiff Fix Steps (2026-01-06)

This document details the two key fix steps to resolve issues where AnimateDiff fails to operate on the WebUI Forge version.

Stage 2: Architecture Incompatibility (Missing ldm Module)

Status:
After installing the correct sd-webui-animatediff extension, a large number of red error messages appear in the console upon startup:
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'ldm'

Cause:
This is an issue specific to WebUI Forge. To optimize generation speed and memory management, Forge has significantly refactored the underlying backend core, removing the ldm (Latent Diffusion Model) module library that the older Automatic1111 relied on.
However, the standard AnimateDiff extension defaults to using the master branch, and the code in that branch still attempts to call the old ldm module, causing a crash.

Solution:
Switch the extension's Git branch to the forge/master branch, which is maintained by the developer specifically for Forge.

Commands to Execute (PowerShell):

1. Enter the extension directory

cd "D:\GAME\Stability\StabilityMatrix-win-x64\Data\Packages\Stable Diffusion WebUI Forge - Classic\extensions\sd-webui-animatediff"

2. Fetch all remote branch updates

git fetch --all

3. Force switch and overwrite the local branch with the remote forge/master branch

Stage 3: Outdated Code (XYZ Plot Error)

Status:
After successfully switching to the Forge branch, a new error appears upon startup:
AttributeError: module 'xyz_grid.py' has no attribute 'AxisOptionImg2Img'

Cause:
This is a minor code compatibility bug. AnimateDiff supports testing within "XYZ Plot".
However, in the latest Forge version, the AxisOptionImg2Img class attribute originally defined in the xyz_grid.py script has been removed or renamed, but the AnimateDiff code has not yet been updated to reflect this change, leading to a failure in reading the attribute.

Solution:
Modify the extension source code animatediff_xyz.py, replacing all invalid AxisOptionImg2Img instances with the generic AxisOption.

Define the file path
