I’m currently looking for alternatives to Hetzner for setting up our edge network. While Hetzner offers excellent pricing, high free bandwidth, and a non-pay-as-you-go model—which I find very appealing—I have concerns about their account suspension practices and the limited number of data center locations. These factors make Hetzner less suitable for our edge network needs.
We need a provider with more locations to effectively build an edge network while offering competitive pricing and substantial integrated bandwidth. Ideally, we’re looking for alternatives that are not significantly more expensive but can provide:
A broader range of data center locations
Reliable services with minimal account issues
High traffic bandwidth similar to or better than Hetzner
A cost-effective pricing model (avoiding pay-as-you-go if possible)
If you have any recommendations or experiences with providers that fit these criteria, I’d greatly appreciate your input!
