Community conduct

The skbx community is here to understand difficult systems together.

We welcome operators, kernel developers, network engineers, newcomers, researchers, and tool builders. Different experience levels are useful; contempt is not.

Expected behavior

  • Be curious before being certain.
  • Critique claims and patches, not people.
  • Make room for questions and explain unfamiliar kernel vocabulary.
  • Distinguish observed evidence from inference.
  • Respect privacy when traces contain addresses, process names, or topology.
  • Accept correction plainly and help repair misunderstandings.

Unacceptable behavior

Harassment, threats, discriminatory language, sexualized attention, doxxing, deliberate disruption, and sustained bad-faith engagement are not welcome in project spaces.

Reporting

For conduct concerns, contact the repository owner privately through the contact details on the copyleftdev GitHub profile. Reports will be handled as confidentially as practical. Maintainers may edit or remove content, limit participation, or ban contributors when needed to keep the community safe and productive.

This standard applies in issues, pull requests, discussions, code review, and other spaces where someone is representing the project.
