Stuck in data control protocol mode

Bug Description

I ran the command, resarted the system and still says the same.

Expected Result

Able to use the clipboard manager.

Steps to Reproduce

Install on Popos 24.04

Additional Information

11:23:37 ➜ cat /etc/profile.d/data_control_cosmic.sh
export COSMIC_DATA_CONTROL_ENABLED=1

Glad its not just me thats having the issue. Entered code and restarted at least 5 times.

I’m also experiencing this issue on Pop!_OS 24.04.

After running the command and restarting, the clipboard manager
still reports being stuck in data control protocol mode and remains unusable.

I have the same issue. I ran the command, verified that the script was indeed created/changed, restarted, but the clipboard message doesn't change. I've had to reinstall the OS 3 times for various reasons, performed the steps above each time, but the clipboard message never changed.
