Time adaptation based on real time

Hello,

I just discovered OnTime, and I love the concept.

I want to use it in my community TV control room.

However, I'm missing an essential feature: adapting the start times of the elements based on real time.

Example:
LIVE 1 Scheduled for 10:30 AM
LIVE 2 Scheduled for 11:00 AM

Live 1 ended at 10:35 AM, Live 2 is scheduled to start at 11:05 AM.

Today, the start time isn't correct. Maybe it's just a configuration issue? I looked, but I couldn't find it.

I'm using Mac OS 15.2, MacBook Pro M3.

I'm not sure I exactly understand what problem you're running into, and hope that OnTime actually already supports what you're trying to do. In particular, you may want to set up your rundown with the correct combination of

• Linked start time
• Locked end times vs. locked duration
• The "Count to end" checkbox

Perhaps if you clarify a bit more about what your expected behavior is, someone can help figure out if there's a way to set up a rundown that works the way you want.

No, that's not it.

I'd like the start time to be the actual time, and for the end time and start time of other events to adapt live to the start time...

This would allow you to know the start time of an event, despite the delays or advances of previous events.

Is that better?
