Can this project still work with 2023 Twitter API changes?

As of spring 2023 Elon Mask paywalled Twitter API v2 (~100$/month) and barred reading of all tweets without a twitter account.
Furthermore, on summer 2023 Twitter API v1 was shutdown -Twint forks seem to struggle to function.

• What is the status of this project?
• Is it possible to make it work again?
