Would like to know the progress now. Any exmaples that I can build a firmware to test? BTW, is it possible to support analog multiplexers (e.g. CD74HC4067)?

There is already a driver to support analog multiplexers(he,kscan-multiplexer), I've added it to the readme now.
if you need a reference to create a config you can look at my configuration: https://github.com/cr3eperall/zmk-config-partialgauss that uses the direct driver, or if you need an example of how to use the multiplexer driver, there is a config in issue #2
