Webhook api version

I couldn't find anything about this in the documentation. Does it matter which API version you select when creating the webhook in Stripe?

When I configured our Stripe account for Craft Commerce, version 2024-11-20.acacia was current, but version 2025-12-15.clover is now available.

The 2.x branch now uses Stripe API version 2026-01-28.clover. The API version is sent with each request from the plugin, so it doesn't matter what version is selected in your Stripe dashboard — your account should work regardless.

If you'd like to test before a tagged release, update your composer.json:

"craftcms/stripe": "2.x-dev as 1.7.1"

Then run composer update.

Please note this is experimental, and we'll update this issue once the release is tagged.
