When considering one specific case of a false positive, I like to consider the others as well (e.g. #1446) so we have an idea of what principles should guide us.

What kind of set of extensions should we work to not correct? What impact may that have on people not interacting with that format?

Indeed, these are the right questions.

1. Probably odf is a not so popular extension and may be kept to be marked as typo (anyhow, I have a concerning rule in the .typos.config).
2. I don’t know how common the typo odf for of is, but given that on standard keyboard layouts d and f are next to each other, I can imagine that it happens from time to time.

PS: I don’t have a big issue with keeping this false positive as won’t fix. If you prefer, just close the issue.
