Analyze (relatively) large increase in unspent outputs for gingerwallet in 03/2025 #19
Description
Sudden spike in number of unspent outputs occur for gingerwallet in 03/2025:
Caused by this coinjoin transaction: 750a4907d18ec49f97592fd196b3755068a8dc0bd6a361857e6a0bea6a125c2b
All large inputs > 1btc are all coming from wasabi2 coinjoins from days 2023-05-14 and 2023-05-15, some inputs are from wasabi1 mix (all likely coming from a same wallet). Only 5 small outputs left mix directly (51, 74, 75, 78, 80). Unusually large number of outputs is left unmixed.
Hypothesis: Large OG coinjoin wallet set gingerwallet coordinator, input a lot of its coins into a single coinjoin transaction (unclear why gingerwallet client took so many coins at once), then continued with more normal (not all used) mixing with only some of the resulting outputs.
