function ignores http proxy

What happened?

I am trying to use function-kcl behind a http proxy. I tried to set env vars http_proxy, https_proxy, HTTP_PROXY and HTTPS_PROXY but it seems like function ignores them. My composite dies with failed to run kcl function pipelines: package 'k8s:1.32.4' not found

How can we reproduce it?

Run function-kcl without direct access to the Internet. And try to use official dependencies

What environment did it happen in?

Talos 1.10.5, Kubernetes 1.33.2, kernel 6.12.35-talos on vSphere
Crossplane 1.20

do you plan to create a release with fixed dependency any time soon? It would help to unblock us operating in environments behind proxy.

Being able to use proxy variables is also a critical must-have for our environment that uses a corporate proxy.

+1 we have an issue with authorization on our proxy Artifcatory repo after 3 hours of work function-kcl, we want to test new release before create issue
