Hi guys, sorry for the late reply. We have started migrating to Crossplane v2. The first step is to migrate to Upjet v2, which includes implemented safe start. Other features likes Cloud changelogs will come after that in seperate PRs.

There are still some minor things left, afterwards we will start testing with Crossplane v2

Hey folks,

we're happy to let you know that we've successfully completed the migration to Upjet v2.

The artifacts have successfully been built. (ghcr.io/crossplane-contrib/provider-openstack:v0.7.2-13.gf4af234)

We'd really appreciate any volunteers who are willing to give it a spin an let us know if you encounter any issues.
If everything continues to look good, we're currently aiming for a mid-January release.

Support for Crossplane 2.x has been shipped in v0.8.0-rc.1. It is currently internally tested, if no problems will be detected we will release it on stable next week.
